At approximately 10:30 a.m., first responders were notified about a multiple vehicle crash near the Coldspring Avenue exit on I-83 in Baltimore City, Maryland. Southbound I-83 was shut down from the Coldspring Avenue exit.
Several Good Samaritans attempted to extract the driver of the heavy duty truck and to extinguish the fire. Unfortunately, the driver of the heavy duty truck suffered fatal injuries.
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police temporarily shut down parts of I-83 after a fatal accident Tuesday morning at the E. 28th Street exit.
Baltimore Fire reports one person has died and another went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
