2 Important Notice About Legal Inquiries
Submitting information through the website, chat, email, text message, or telephone does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a written agreement signed by D’Amore and the client. Unless and until that relationship is established, information submitted through the Services may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege.
Do not use the Services to send information that is:
- Time-sensitive.
- Subject to a filing deadline.
- More confidential than is reasonably necessary for an initial case evaluation.
- Contacting us does not guarantee that we will accept or investigate a matter.
- If you believe a legal deadline may apply, contact a qualified attorney promptly.

- Identifiers and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and preferred method of contact.

4 How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide an initial evaluation of a potential legal matter.
- Communicate with you, schedule consultations, route inquiries, and follow up on requested services.
- Determine whether we can represent you or whether a referral to another attorney may be appropriate.
- Provide legal services if we enter into an attorney-client relationship.
- Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and our communications systems.
- Understand website use, measure advertising and campaign performance, prevent duplicate or fraudulent leads, and improve the relevance and effectiveness of our outreach.
- Protect our rights, safety, property, clients, personnel, and systems; prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents; and enforce applicable terms.
- Comply with professional obligations, court orders, legal process, record keeping requirements, and applicable law.
- Create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably linkable to an identifiable person.
We limit the collection and processing of sensitive personal information to what is reasonably necessary to respond to a request, evaluate or provide legal services, secure the Services, comply with law, or accomplish another purpose permitted by applicable law.
5 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used to keep the website functioning, remember preferences, protect against spam and abuse, understand website traffic, measure calls and form submissions, and evaluate or deliver advertising.
- Essential technologies support security, network management, forms, chat, and other requested website functions.
- Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the website and whether pages function as intended.
- Advertising and measurement technologies help attribute visits, calls, and inquiries to advertising and may help advertising platforms select or measure ads. Depending on applicable law, some of this activity may be considered targeted advertising or sharing of personal data.
Your choices include:
- Controlling many cookies through your browser settings and any cookie-preference tool made available on the website. Blocking certain technologies may cause parts of the Services to function improperly.
- Using qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, which we will honor where required by applicable law.
- Traditional browser “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry; except where the law requires otherwise, the Services may not respond to them.
6 How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Website, hosting, security, spam-prevention, information-technology, and performance providers.
- Intake, chat, communications, scheduling, telephone-routing, call-tracking, and call-recording providers, which may include Intaker and CallRail.
- Customer-relationship, legal-intake, and case-management providers, which may include Clio Grow and related Clio services.
- Analytics and advertising providers, which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, YouTube, and similar platforms.
- Professional advisers and service providers, including attorneys, experts, consultants, accountants, insurers, auditors, and records or litigation-support vendors, when relevant to an inquiry or representation.
- Other law firms or attorneys when you request or authorize a referral, when reasonably necessary to evaluate a potential referral, or as otherwise permitted by professional obligations and law.
- Government authorities, courts, law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law, legal process, professional obligations, or the need to protect rights and safety.
- A successor or transaction participant in connection with a merger, reorganization, transfer of practice assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable legal and professional obligations.
These recipients may receive identifiers, contact details, device and usage data, communications, case-intake information, or sensitive information, but only as appropriate to the service or purpose involved. Some third-party features, such as embedded videos, may allow the third party to collect information directly from your browser under its own privacy policy.
7 Sale and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not sell sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive medical or case-intake information to target advertising to you.
Our use of advertising and measurement technologies may involve disclosing the following information to advertising platforms:
- Device identifiers.
- Cookie identifiers.
- IP addresses.
- Website activity.
- Advertising-attribution information.
Some state privacy laws may define that activity as “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising,” even when no money is exchanged. Where those laws apply, you may opt out by:
- Using any cookie-preference or “Your Privacy Choices” link displayed on the website.
- Enabling a legally recognized opt-out preference signal.
- Contacting us as described in Section 13.

- The status of an inquiry or matter.
- Applicable limitation periods.
- Legal or professional requirements.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for longer periods.
9 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information in light of its nature and the risks involved. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email, ordinary web forms, and text messages may not be encrypted end to end.
Unless we request them and provide an appropriate method for transmission, please do not send:
- Social Security numbers.
- Financial account numbers.
- Complete medical records.
- Similarly sensitive materials.

These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when information is subject to attorney-client privilege, work-product protection, confidentiality duties, litigation holds, professional record keeping rules, security needs, or another legal exception.
11 Additional Information for Maryland Residents
If the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act applies to our processing, Maryland residents may exercise the applicable rights described above, including rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and qualifying profiling. The Services are intended for adults seeking information or legal assistance and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Services. The Services may link to or embed content from third-party websites and services. We do not control the privacy or security practices of those third parties. Their privacy policies govern information they collect directly. A link does not imply that we endorse the third party’s privacy practices.
16 Processing in Other Locations
D’Amore and its service providers may process and store information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy protections in those locations may differ from those in your place of residence. We take steps appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable law when engaging service providers.
